We have a lot of JCF bros up in the Tampa area, too. This probably won't be much of a storm, but it looks like either we're getting it or our Tampa buddies are.

Jeez, 87 in Washington state. Go figure. I was there one July 4, and it was 71 day/40-somethinggodawful at night. I froze my ass off.

I had a buddy who built casinos for a few years out there Sukisyn. He'd call me up in the middle of the day, "Hey, man - I'm standing on a tank in a hole looking at a thermometer, and it is 117! In the hole!"

I hate storms and hurricanes.
Last year in September, one hit our city and I lost the power of our house for 1week.

If you want crappy summer weather, 4th of July and Seafair weekend are normally crappy days for us. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] This year has been great though, Sunday I'll be out on the lake on a Meridian 459, soakin up the Rays [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

I was supposed to be in vegas RIGHT NOW for my sisters 21st birthday, but I have a really important meeting friday and My other parts guy had some medical issues he had to take care of this week so I had to bow out of the trip. Hurricanes FREAK me out. I absolutely hate them. Good luck to all the FL JCFers - hope the storm turns out to be menial.

Last year we were hit with Hurricane Isabel (I was living in DE at the time) and I lost part of my fence and a tree. But the funniest thing... we went out for a drive a couple days later just to have a look around. Everything was flooded and we came across these ponies that looked like they had sunk into the water and mud. Poor ponies!! I felt so bad for them.
Until on closer inspection I discovered they were miniature ponies!! Bwahahaha!!! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] What a dork I am.
