    The first 2 Tattoos I got were ones I've been saying since I was 4 years old that I'd get My Motley one on my left arm just like everyonein the band has, and my Atlanta Braves one. My Mayhem one is a tribute to my all time favorite Drummer Tommy Lee, I've also have a star on each wrist that are kinda like the ones he has too. I have a Lighning bolt just like Randy Castillo's as a tribute to him. I have 5150 on my inner forarm in japaneese, I have the Screams first album cover also on my arm. I have a dragon and a bullseye that I designed on my rifht arm. I have my last name going along my forarm, I have a Corvette emblem, and a tattoo that my freind drew for all us to get tattooed on our arms, It's the letters SKC surrounded in flames.

      I think ladies need to be careful where they put their tatts, I agree. They can look like a big bruise. Not very attractive. And if you're getting one thinking you're increasing your attractiveness then you need to see your shrink.
      When the artwork follows bodyline and form, I think that is beautiful. The artist that did mine (a dragon wrapped around a treble clef on my right wrist) had a picture of a woman she did with an entire dragon down her back. It was absolutely incredible! You could tell by how the artwork was done that the dragon would move with her. (I'm a dragon NUT, btw). I would LOVE to have a dragon down my back, but I prefer to save my money for guitars and accessories.

      I suppose these days tattooing in our culture is somewhat of a vain embelishment, but mine means something to me.
      Because its so visible I get a lot of interest in it, but I have never had anyone be rude about it. Like I would care anyway. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
      But the fake hair, fake face, fake boobs, fake ass...yeah. All that is hysterical. If that's what a girl wants to do, alright. But I think its silly. [img]/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img]

        I have to agree about getting ink as a means of fad. I have both my arms 3/4 sleeved with Japanese art, & have started my back, if anyone has seen what is called a Yakuza Jacket thats what I'm doing not to be cool or so chics dig my Tattoos & long hair. I'm half Japanese on my Fathers side, doing this is sometimes something that runs in your family in Japanese scociety. What I mean is sometimes it's family traditon to get Tattooed. I have been working on my Tattoos for this Jacket for about a year now when it is done I will be covered from neck to my knees , & shoulder to just past my elbows. alot of my work represents members of my Family , Father, grand father my uncle & 2 brothers I'm the youngest, so I will represent everyone. I have 1 for my son on my chest already , the stomach remains untouched.
        So for me in short it's traditon & a question of Honoring my Family. on a personal note my ex-wife didn't like them & my girlfriend isn't that crazy about them either. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

          The only time I ever get women talking to me about mine is when they see my Crue tat and start talking about them, or they're sluts who like guys in bands.

            My favorite tattoo is when I had Johnny Cash autograph my arm 10 years ago, and ran out and had it tatted. Talk about an experience. His kids (Cindy and Kathy) even asked for pics after they heard about it. I guess I was a first for the autograph my "blank"...But all of my tats are hidden by a long sleeved shirt when I am at work. I manage a hotel. So I make adjustments for my choices.

              The problem with Tats is that I never see any cool ones . It's usually just a collection of ink tossed anywhere on people ....blotchy , crooked or just plain stupid lookin'..

              Like that 16 year old girl example ...I actually saw a short chubby 16 yr old girl with her mom (needed permission) get this tattoo...

                Hey, Garfield holding balloons is pretty unique and individual... nobody ELSE wants to get a tattoo THAT kiddie. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Everybody else wants tattoos of Celtic/tribal patterns, flaming skulls, snakes wrapped around naked chicks, and stuff to make them look tougher, but this girl is something else. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

                I couldn't see myself ever getting a tattoo unless it was a Speedo tattooed around my hips to resemble a Speedo... then I could go to a regular beach, appearing dressed in a Speedo, but really being there nude... [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I thought about this when I was about 14, so it's almost seven years now... [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] That is how long I've been insane.                   I'm gonna get a tattoo of animal from the muppets playing drums at some point, I loved animal when I was a little kid, he's probally why I started playing drums.

                      What sucks at this point is blending all my tatas together, I have 6 on each arm ranging from small to Very Large so getting everything to look cool is kinda hard.

                              i almost got, the Ukranian flag crossed w/ the Sicilian. woulda' had a pepper through the Ukranian and the Sickle/Hammer through the Sicilian.                                 Hey Bill I know a Tattoo artist here in Miami that would hook you up on the work just for the Jesus thing , I told him the idea & he said bring em over he loved the idea, but then you would have to hit every titty bar in town with this guy for like 2 days straight [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
