Re: Too much information...

Holy crap. You guys are freaking me out.
I've naturally birthed two children, one was 9 1/2 pounds and the other 8 1/2 pounds (and I'm a little lady) with no drugs whatsoever. To me it was not a big deal. Pain is relative.
But all THIS. No fukkin way would I ever want to go through any of this that y'all have. Too scary and too painful.

etaeniura (did I spell that right?) I hope you feel better mighty quick, man. I really do.

Em

DANG. 9 1/2 pounds!? 8 1/2 pounds!? What, is their father a giant!?

I say Em wins the prize. I concede.

Actually, passing them naturally is not too bad. I have had 6 or 8 in the past. This one was 8 millimeters in diameter, which gave me a 10 percent chanvce of passing it on my own. I didn't like those odds, so i figured I might as well get it over with ASAP. I am actually feeling about 50 percent better today. Thanks for all the kind words!

Ouch on the shot to the femur. I lost about an inch of bone due to it shattering and splintering (impact fracture). But my skin was there to hold all of the stuff together on the inside. The shot must have been messy. Did you have to get a rod or a plate in your leg to space the bone so it would regenerate around the metal? I still have mine in there and its been 9 years. I probably will bever have it out now.

What I wanted to try to convey above and didn't do at all is that in my opinion, internal issues is where the worst pain is next to being burned.

Oh, one more thing: "Taking this medication with alcohol may intensify effect." Hell yeah!

I have one of these:

That isn't me, but my x-ray looks a lot like that. Except in mine you can still see a lot of the shot.

I can't tell you guys anything else about it, because if I do, it won't sound as cool. Like, for example, the fact that it is bird shot, not something macho like 00 buck.

Re: Too much information...

Whine all ya want. It sucks to be in pain and sometimes whining helps. I have kids, I should know.
Besides, doctors and hospitals and all that Frankenstein stuff they do to you is scary.
I was in hospital once for kidney probs and it SUCKS big time. I mean real big time. The docs were all ass*****.

Anyway- to Axe Keith:

My Keith is 6 foot and I'm 5'8 but we both have slight builds (he's a soccer player, I'm a ballet dancer)- not huge people, so I dunno why my kids were so fukking HUGE. They were literally bowling balls. Cute, healthy bowling balls.
I tease the Sarge that I should have taken a better look at his big ol' noggin. I probably would have high-tailed it in the other direction. Aint NO WAY I'm having his kids!
Just kidding.

Cheers ,
Em
