as you all may know i am jsut a young inexperienced lad with his life head of him. i cannot help but wonder what love is . what should i look for ina woman and things of the sort. share your ideas give suggestions do what ever and please help me out a little because i am confused.

Hey dude, I must commend you on actually asking for help. Firstly you must know what you want, sounds easy right, well you would be surprized how many guys don't know exactly what they want from their significant other. As musicians we are goal oriented so you should figure out as much about this person as you can then find it.

Secondly, it's hard to define what love is. For me I lean towards what Ayn Rand said, "Love is the expression of one's values, the greatest reward you can earn for the moral qualities you have achieved in your character and person, the emotional price paid by one man for the joy he receives from the virtues of another."

Also you could read "Symposium (The Banquet)" from the book The Great Dialoges of Plato. It's a party held in celebration of playwrite Agathon's sucess but they end up spending the evening discussing the meaning and nature of love with Socrates in attendance.
