Okay. Here's my take on love and its simple.

Love is when you can be the person you are when you're all by yourself (you know what I'm talking about), around a significant other. And that other person still loves you and thinks you are the coolest person EVER. Strange maybe, but still wickedly cool.
I've been married 10 years and the Sarge is my best friend. He was my best friend when I married him and it just keeps getting funnier sharing our lives together. Awww.
But the key is- you are your true self and someone appreciates that about you. At least, that's what I think.

some good advice from Em there. But I think...at his age (and mine) being comfortable around a girl...and being yourself is very hard if you have feelings for them.

When you like or even love a girl, you'll often find yourself doing awfully stupid things around her...trying to get her attention...or being overly nice, acting like a big wuss basically. the girl will eat this up...until you throw her the lame "be my girlfriend" then she'll deny you...crush your soul and then be dissapointed when you stop hanging out with them all the time.

it's a pain in the ass. I've watched it happen a million times...it's happened to me several tiems. Now I just let the ones who like me...do there thing and I play along until they come clean with their feelings
