Yeah, I'll take the heat with ya. I started watching Nascar about 5 years ago when my son was 2. he liked the car with the flames on it. It's just something that has grown on us both. I really don't hate other drivers though. I don't get that. I like Jr, Rusty, Newman, R.Gordon and Micheal Waltrip is a close second to #24.

Nascar has gotten so huge in the past few years. I don't understand the why some people hate it. I can understand not liking it, but man sometimes these people are crazy with hate for Nascar.

Gordon is OK. Her and I would have a friendly rivalry going between the 24 and 3 when we would go to the races..just like everyone else. Every February Daytona race I would have a party and place a #3 Diecast car on the fireplace mantle for good luck. That year she turned the car on it's roof before the first lap....

BTW I get garage passes through a buddy of mine, Robbie Loomis and Chad Knaus are cool guys. For that matter, the Eury's are really cool too.

BTW, has anyone else seen the commercial of Jr. and MW in the back seat of the car and Jr. is playing (?) the Strat?

Yeah that is a good commercial. i don't hate any of the drivers either. I became a Gordon fan on his first race. I was a Richard petty fan as a kid and growing up. RP's last race was Gordons' first so that is why I Became a Gordon fan. Passing the torch in a way... All the commercials in the last few years have really become entertaining. Cool that you get pit passes. I get box and pits from my Dupont supplier. All of the guys in NASCAR that I have met are super nice. They really love the fans. Poconos races are the ones I get tix for because it is closest to me. i want to go to Dover too. Good stuff. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
