          yeah.. i work out (though i'm only 18, my physiology doesn't really compare to some of you older fellas.. not saying you're old.. but.. ahh you know what i mean)

          i'm 6'3" 230 lbs, but kinda flabby in the gut.. lol.. but i work hard labor when i'm not at school so it keeps my arms toned.. anyways yeah cardio is the way to go.. you can NEVER have enough cardio, really.. even if you are bulking up you'll lose some fat if yo ulots of cardio

          thats my advice, cardio.
          its the only success i've ever had


          oh yeah and drink ENORMOUS amounts of water, as in, nothing other than water or milk... you'll be good as gold

          (the worst thing for "relapsing" on a weight loss or bulking up diet is drinking sugary drinks or drinks high in carbs... )


          i don't know much about this.. my step brother is a personal trainer and those are the tips he gave me to start doing my own free time workout...

            you're right dude ...I can drop 20lbs + in a month just by cutting out all the pop I drink...

            I can't work out anymore because of my injury ...but I do some pushups and I still do curls until my arms go numb ...got to keep up the "guns" ...chicks dig the guns...

              i work out a lot. i'm now 5' 8" and 147lbs approx. thing is, i max out my dumbbell curls at 55lbs. i do mostly light weights now since the strength is there. first set until i max out of 25lbs, second set the same at 30lbs, last at 35lbs. i go for a lotta' reps at what "light weights" are for me.

              just started going to the gym and because i don't have enough time to do the multiple lifts that breakdown the same muscle, it rebuilds faster i've noticed. Biceps, Triceps, Deltoids? [Shoulders], with the given Forearms are one day. Lats, Traps, Chest are the next. I alternate between the two with running at my full speed [i'm a sprinter] for ¼mi, not sure what that is in km, work out, and then jog for 1mi afterwards. mostly, i drink water... but here comes the downfall. i eat like ****. as someone else here said, the few meals a day that're small, yeah, i've done that for a few weeks now. seems to help. junk food, liquor, you name it, i eat it... almost... but whatever you decide, good luck.

                I drag race in the quarter mile in muscle cars... does that count? lol

                1979 Camaro in Midnight Blue, 350 small block on nitrous and whatever else my brother felt was nesscessary.. i'm new to the sport so he kept (and stil ldoes) keep my car fairly slow so i can stay i nthe lower classes.. .and i don't kill myself.. hahaha

                        Wow.. 5'8" 147lbs. You are one of those skinny dudes. Curling 55lbs dumbells strict is damn respectable. I bomb my triceps much more than my biceps. It is all about the bench press for me anyway so all my training is focused on increasing my bench. I am 5'8" also and I weigh anywhere from 190 to 202 depending on what phase of training I am in.
                        You gave out some sound advise too.

                          Nice to see I'm not the only one at 5'8"!
                          I'm 175 right now and I am trying to loose as much body fat as possible so I am doing 20 mins a day on the cross trainer. I still do my regular workouts but the cardio is priority right now.

                          Like others said, you can't stress the importance of water and forget about the pop! Diet pop is no good either. Even juice can blot you out fast. I only use it for mixing post workout drinks, to get some sugar into my blood.

                          You be surprised how fast the fat melts away when you do the cardio for 20 mins 5 days a week.
