"Bunkers" I think that would be the beat housing in Florida. At least until there are retractable home that can pop in and out of the ground.

We lived in Key West five years before coming up here: I always said down there I wanted to buy a decommissioned boomer sub from the Russians, and convert it into a submersible shelter. Then when a storm threatened the Keys, I could sell tickets and fill up the boat with people and take her out to the wall and drop her down 1,000 feet or so to ride out the storm.

I STILL think that is a good idea.

But anyway, Steve, all the best to ya guy. It DOES suck. Sometimes shitty things happen all at once. I always figure, hell, might as well get all the misery done with for a while, and get on to the good stuff.

Ron, I'll tell you, I'll take hurricanes over earthquakes any day! At least you know when they're coming!Cryo, they're saying Ivan may turn east; maybe enough to go east of the US. If it heads for New Orleans though, GET OUT!! A Category 5 hitting N.O would basically kill that town! I lived through Camille in 1969 and we had a 25-ft. storm surge basically take out everything for a mile inland on a 26-mile wide front. We're about 15 feet above sea level, but you are BELOW sea level so that would be lots worse.Still better than those fukkin earthquakes though!
          Ron is the MAN!!!!
