Any Cult fans?

I'm just sittin here at work, windin' down after a hellacious week.

To pass the time, I turn on my itunes and decide to play the Cult.

Damn, I forgot how much I dig this band. Wish they'd get another disc out...

Man I hear ya! They fuggin' rock! I wonder who they will get for a drummer since Matt is in Velvet Revolver? Slash sounds great on the new Revolver stuff. What do you think about them?

Great band, man. I've been a fan for a long time. "Electric" still gets my motor runnin', and I really enjoyed the last album. They are a great live band, too. Billy Duffy is one tasty player.

Yeah, they were awesome. I've got all their cds except for the last one they put out when they got back together a couple years ago. I'll eventually get that. Too bad they broke up again.

i was lucky to see them on their last tour, (and what became their last show as the cult)at the house of blues in chicago. i have one of billy's picks, and the set list that i was lucky enough to have ian sign at the loadout dock.

easily one of the best bands ever; i've been listening to them, and janes addiction alot lately.

Bill, the word "evil" comes up in a few of their tunes. You should take a second look at this band.

I really like the cult, but I saw that DVD live "music without fear" and I thought Ian sucked and the band was too loose. Ian was WAY too sloppy, and Billy wasnt as spot on as he could have been. I was very disapointed.I think Ian and Billy kick major a$$. That DVD kinda ruined it for me. I was hoping for a kickass show since they rock out. Lotsa vibe in theri music.

i have the dvd, and i can see what you're saying about ian. too much running around, too little singing. he's an odd little dude, though. didn't notice billy not playing well, i thought it was good. but "rise" was too slow. that kinda bummed me out.

I never had their stuff but saw a couple of videos they had when MTV was worth a damn, and they have that one track on GTA: Vice City (She Sells Sanctuary), which I like.
