    [/ QUOTE ]Considering that the water table is only 2 to 5 feet down in most of Florida, you'd have to have some serious sumppumps to keep it dry! Wasn't it Keith (Axtogrind) who had the idea of buying a sub to serve as a submersible shelter? Just hide on the bottom til it's over!

      Yeah, that was me. I'm mean it wouldn't work up here, but in Key West, you don't have to go very far out before the shelf drops off to 2,000+ feet...

      And if you pulled the silos out of a boomer, how many people could you bunk in there? A bunch, I bet. Now, if I could only get a few hundred million $ to get started! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
