Out of curiosity, anyone in this group who would be willing/able to teach me how to solder? I'm a madman for swapping pickups and I'm tired of paying a tech to do it if it is something I can easily do myself. Doesn't hurt to ask. Let me know.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I've done pickup swaps before but my experience consists of taking a Schecter 7-string and sticking a set of Dimarzio 7-string Blazes in it. That was easy. Where I get into trouble is with, say, my 87 Soloist, where it has 3 mini switches, 2 volumes, a tone, and a coil tap. I get all screwed up. If some of our STL guys can put on a clinic or something, that'd be great. This weekend wil be bad for me too. We can definitely get something going soon though.

You guys say when and I'll get the master tek "Shaky" over as well, bring all yer axes, we'll make him set em all up while we party and watch the RAMS Kick Ass and the Hawks loose their arse!!!

Sorry guys, but I just "hooked" into a fishing tourney Sunday.. No pun intended, well maybe a little.
