She might look good with:
A - a decent photographer in a decent setting (somehow those slats and kid's photos just ruin the scene - and those poses [img]/images/graemlins/brow.gif[/img] - go take a class, dear)
B - PROPERLY APPLIED MAKE UP. Jeez US, people, spend a little money on a pro to do your hair and makeup.

The "singer" needs lessons as well.
