I'm told by promoters, that extremely fast rising insurance costs are a lot to do with ticket prices, not sure if that's true. Lots of people do get hurt at shows and sue the hell out of the places with ever increasingly hungry lawyers, so, maybe that is part of the case?
I can say the insurance on my rental house has almost doubled in the last two years. So, maybe that concept is not too unlikely I spose.
