The problem of Gary Moore is he is always changing his direction of music every 2-3albums.
Adrian, he hasn't put any new music since mid 80's.
Only 1 Whitesnake album (which sucked) and Manic Eden(cool album but very different from Vandenberg).
OK, let's continue.
John Sykes
Michael Romeo
Jake E Lee
This list could go on for years but by far the forgotten great is Tony Macalpine (my personal hero). Other worthy mentions are Ronny Jarzombeck, George Bellas and Ritchie Kotzen.
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine. - Ayn Rand
Check out his solo lp's-Sykes is great writes great songs with great riffs
Vandenburg had the first two solo albums that were hot and he is underated cause I never heard him put out anything after that. He played sykes songs, vai recorded, was he on a WS lp.
I don't know about underated-but guys that never really
were very commercially successful.
John Norum
Akira Takasaki
Vinnie Moore
Always was into MacAlpine
Andy Larouque
Frank Hannon and Tommy Skeoch-I was supposed to see them this summer, a pal is friends with them and I wreck my bike and ended up in the emergency room instead of at the show.
Definately Robin, everyone was always hot on DiMartini but
I was always more into Robins Style.
I think Neal Schon is way overlooked as a shredder. Always dug him got to see him 2 summers ago. He played great with killer tone, man he has some fast licks. He smoked, right up there with anyone I have ever seen.
