After long, hard fought matches all summer (well, what summer was left when I returned from the desert), my squadron golf team, which I captain, won the base intramural golf championship today!! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

I know, I know, most of y'all couldn't give a rat's a$$ one way or the other (golf right, phfffft [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] ). But ya gotta understand that, even though we've always had a kicka$$ team, we've been coming in second for the last few years. And now we've given my Commander some more bragging rights (he has tons already cuz my squadron kicks a$$... [img]/images/graemlins/eviltongue.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] ) . The rest of the upper echelon around base will never hear the end of this one.

Was it a best ball? Congrats! I need to get out before the floods hit here. I think my Pings have rust on the shafts because I haven't been out in so long. Bad golf is better that no golf. I was shooting low 80's/high 70's until the wife starting popping kids out. Each kid added 10 strokes to my game. I would be happy to break 100 now.

nice job.
i can crank a golf ball pretty damn far. keeping it staight is another story.
my best golf is when i tape m-80's to a nice titleist, have a friend light it, and then let it rip. hours of fun.

Yeah AC, 2-man teams (A & B players). Fun format. I know whatcha mean about your game goin' to hell when the pups came.
