This guy figures on boning your wife while you are deployed wherever you are going. Unless you are cool with that you need to put the fear of God into him, physically or mentally, whichever works best. I'd go so far as to say that if you don't put the guy on notice, Krista might feel that means you don't mind, which would be a bad way to leave things if you're going off to, say, Iraq.
