I am concerned about others but I think I should be the one to decide who I help and how I do it. I personally don't beleive in alot of the causes supported by the Social..er Democrats. I think there are alot better uses for money in the community.

Wow,thanks for telling me what I'm *supposed* to be concerned with.And that folks is the great hypocrisy of the left .... if you bring up abortion WHOA watch the **** out because it's THEIR body (not the little baby inside) so you can't possibly tell them what to do with it,that's just wrong! But taking my hard earned money to give to people who don't go out and try to make their own way,well that's morally correct.Even though it's "my body" that I'm wearing down actually working for a living.
I for one know I wouldn't feel right if I sat around on unemployment while all the hard working people had to take a cut away from their families to give me some money.THAT is immoral in my opinion.
I have 4 kids so every single dime that is taken away from me is taken away from them and their future,is that ok? Hell no it's not.I pay for everything they have ever needed,does that make a man greedy or self-centered? Unless you have kids you have no right to tell me otherwise.
Taxes for utilities and services that are absolutely neccesary I don't mind a bit,I believe in paying my share,but FARILY not to some government programs to give people free rides that have quite able bodies enough to get off their asses and do something with their lives and contribute that to society instead of draining it off the backs of the people who do the work.
It's so simple freedom = less taxes taken out means we have more money to spend means more businesses which means more jobs for these people to get out their and earn their keep.
The leftists in this country won't be happy until we have a socialist government and thankfully we have the 2nd ammendment to keep that from happening.

I've always considered conservatives to be "evil", but usually not "Satanic".

The reason that most blacks/gays/celebs etc.. are Democrats is because they are what you call "Social Liberals". As in they aren't concerned with people personal lives, unlike "Social Conservatives", who place a lot weight in their Puritanical values, that people should work hard, go to Church, basically not make waves. If you watched the Republican National Convention, you may have noticed that they played up the attendance of everyone who was not white. Democrats are a much more diverse group of people, ranging from people like Joe Liberman, who God only knows why he considers himself a Democrat, to eco-terrorists, to Southern Democrats.

Basically Republicans stand together for what they believe is "right", and Democrats are everyone else who think that Republicans are full of sh!t.

Ace I was in Madison Square Garden for the convention. It's a fact that 2/3 of the speakers on the stage were minorities & women. It's a media myth that the Rebpublican Party is a bunch of old white religious zealots. Most people I spoke to at the Convention (delegates & guests) were: in favor of keeping abortion legal, in favor of allowing persons to do what they want in the privacy of their own home, in favor of lower taxes, in favor of smaller government, etc. Your characterization is WAY off base.
