1st day of MLB division series play thoughts?

So what's everyones thought's after the 1st day of playoffs? I figured the Cards would take it from the Dodgers. Sox looked great behind Schilling. I kind of expected Schilling to look great. Offense and Sox defense played equally as hard. And I couldn't believe Yohan Santana got away with that one. He owes his defense big time because there were Yankees all over those plates. 5 double plays. Mussina was on also. And Hunter got his wish of player he would want to rob a home run from most. If it wasn't for the Twins defense NY would have had that game. Can't wait to see what tonight brings.

we are famous for losing game one. i still like our chances to beat the twins. i was busy as hell yesterday, so i could only check online for scores unfortunately. probably the same today. i heard that figgins blew a play that opened the floodgates for the sox. pedro and colon should be fun to watch today. it's days like this where i wish we still had andy pettite.

i fear nothing. i want to play the sox. it's the best two teams anyway, so getting to the series will feel even better by beating the toughest competition.

It is going to be a lot of fun watching Red Sox today.
Let's see if Pedro Martinez can pitch like he is supposed to do
Has been rough last several games.

it's funny how everybody has the yankees completely written off. seriously, this is the most written off team in playoff history. their pitching has been weak, but for some reason we still won 101 games and had the best record in the a.l.
never underestimate the power of the pinstipes. poor mussina, he pitched incredibly last night. we got 'em right where we want 'em-lol

Noone has batting average of over .300 this year.

Welcome to the everyday life of a Sox fan Tommy. lol I definitely haven't voted the Yankees out. They will win tonight. Those bats are to tough to keep quiet for long. Santana didn't have his A game last night and got a win solely because of the defense behind him and the Twins ability to score those two runs playing smart little ball. Mussina did throw a hell of a game. Stayed focused. They just didn't give him one bit of run support. They had enough guys on base. Twins D deserves some credit for a well played game though. I want another Sox Yanks ALCS series. And I have come to the conclusion that Angels fans have to be homeless people told to go to so and so shelter. lol I've never seen a larger group of people in one place interested in everything except the event that is going on. I can't believe more of them haven't been killed by foul balls. They don't even notice when someone hits a foul. Their to interested in playing with toys like stuffed rally monkeys, thunder sticks and balloons. Unreal. lol

Fans of Angels are basically Dysneyland visitors.
It's a part of Dysneyland package deal and you get to go to see the games.
