A lot of old f*cks like me around here I am just curious what everyones first arena rock show was.


Mine was Kansas. I was 12 and one of my dads whorebag girlfriends took me and a buddy. Its was Monolith tour. We were off on our own doing what everyone else was doing, things were different then. [img]/images/graemlins/sick.gif[/img]

Kiss on the Alive II tour. My dad took me and a friend when I was 13. It was amazing.

AC/DC was the opening act - I'd never even heard of them [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I was pretty amazed when Angus jumped on Bon Scott's shoulders and they ran through the arena.

Out of the Cellar tour.

Next was Motley Crue's Girls Girls Girls tour and then Van Halen's Monsters Of Rock tour to follow.

first concert was probably The Shadows. My dad was a fan & he took me along to see them when I was about 12.

Iron Maiden's Powerslave tour, Accept was the opening act. Second show was Ratt with Bon Jovi as the opening act. I believe my third was AC/DC with Yngvie opening up. Great shows, all.

My parents took me to a lot of weird sh1t when I was a kid. But it was all cool.

First Metal concert was Faith No More in '92- they were HUGE in San Fran. Kicked ass. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] I still love 'em!

Journey and Thin Lizzy, 1978 I believe. My mom worked for Budweiser and that's when they started sponsoring all the shows and she just happened to work in the branding dept. Got the hook up in a big way! Backstage, 8th row, etc. I was 12 tho, so I couldn't indulge, I would have if mom wasn't there, but I do recall someone passing ( or trying ) a doob to mom, [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I still remember that show and Jailbreak and the whole place going nuts!

Uhhhh...way back when Giants Stadium was new. Pablo Cruz, Stanky Brown, Steve Miller Band and The Beach Boys. I was young, maybe 12 or 13. I think it was the first concert ever at Giants Stadium. Crap.....I'm old.
