Here are some pics I took today as examples. The first two pics were made inside and as you can see, the flash went off. You'll notice the grainy effect towards the right of the picture. Then I went outside and took pics of a Paul and a Charvel.

Hey Germandeth..

On your camera do you have a selector switch that switches between close-up and faraway? If so, check it. Maybe you have it set for close-up pictures.
I have one on my digi with symbols noting the distance- the flower means "close-up" the people mean "mid-range" and the mountain symbol means "far far away".

P.S. I recommend anything by Canon, Fuji or Minolta. I use a Fuji digi- my main camera is a Minolta but its 35mm.
For digis- the more megapix the better. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
