I have a prgram on my computer I can't uninstall. IT says the instalation file is invalid or corrupt. Everytime I try to reinstall it over the existing version to update the file, it tells me that the uninstall file didn't execute and I won't be able to unistall it.

No crap! But I don't know how it got like this cause I have installed and re-installed it before.

It's Norton Antivirus.....so how do I unistall it now? [img]/images/graemlins/help.gif[/img]

Have you tried going to "CONTROL PANEL", then "ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS"? Norton shows up on there so you might be able to remove it that way.

If none of those work, try running your comp in safe mode and try to delete it. Then reinstall it. This is what I do if I have something I can not delete or I have a problem installing/uninstalling something.
