Anyone else having problems with PayPal?

Or is it just me? The last two days I can't hardly get logged in and if I am able to I get error messages. All other websites work fine. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

There is a notice on the log in page saying that there is a problem with PayPal and they are working on it.

A technical problem has caused intermittent availability for members attempting to use the site. Activities such as accessing account information, paying for ended eBay listings, and using PayPal shipping functionality have been intermittently available. I was also having problems with my account over the weekend and yesterday. Got error messages logging in a few times, but then I eventually got in after trying a few more times. I didn't see any notice on the log-in page. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

Damn, I posted about this in efraid..didn't know this was here.

Yes, even my debit card/ATM card is useless. There are pages of complaints over on the eBay message board in the Pay Pal section. It was even on CNN yesterday.

Just for a good laugh I just tried calling them. They have a message apologizing for the problems and that they are only handling 'general' questions at this time.

Alright, I was having problems with Paypal earlier this afternoon, but I JUST managed to log in and pay for my digital camera memory card. Keep trying... I was pretty persistent. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Son of a gun. I just realized that I never received the e-mail receipt that PayPal normally sends to your e-mail when you've paid for something. It does show up in my PayPal account and Ebay account that I've paid for my item though.

If they're limping right now the confirmation emails would be the first thing to eliminate until they get things fixed. If you're concerned about having a record of the transaction print the "Details" page of that thransaction for your records. That's not a bad idea in general.
