Umps are spot on? Yeah, after they get their collective heads together...nice footage of A-Rod knocking the ball out of Arroyo's glove and running PAST first base as the ump calls him safe.

Where's all the Yank fans this morning?
No more sh*t talk today, let's just get it on!
BTW Shreddermon, just for the record Sheffield's quote was in Baseball Weekly before it hit the Boston papers. So much for your theory about the Boston papers making it up.
Re: the official yankees-sox series thread (f.p.o.
Ugh! That sucked. Now I'm pissed. ...Why? Because, if they won it, the the Sox would actually deserve the title now. That just ain't right.
No mercy tonight. None. Nada. The Game 7 from Hell. This will be one for the ages.

That wasn't "my" theory. Did you bother to read the article that Kenn had posted a few pages back? For the record, it was attributed to the Boston Herald there.
Re: the official yankees-sox series thread (f.p.o.
Oh...and I don't get the NY fans being bent out of shape, the umps made the right call, regardless of the initial call. That is what they have so many on the field at the same time, what one can't see the others can. They called a good game with exception of a few pitches..
I love that picture posted, looks like A-Rod the A-hole is a little limp wristed homo He's a great player but the 1/4 billion dollar man doesn't have very many fans left here in Texas.
You have to give the Sox a lot of credit, they are doing something right being down 0-3 and winning 3 in a row on the brink of elimination. Game 7 is going to be great!
Here's what comes to mind on the face shots of the fans the last couple games
in Boston: "Oh' please lord, please lord, don't let us choke and continue sucking" we have no hockey team, the celtics suck and new england doesnt count"

Good Morning Back For More.
Nice game last night. Wouldn't be exciting without a game 7. If the Yanks wouldv'e took them in 4 games, it wouldv'e been a boring playoff, like a Yankee-White Sox series. Have to keep in mind, the inevitable. Yanks losing going into the late innings, then something happens. What it's gonna be, I don't know, but I can envision heartbreak again tonight. Has it ever been different? My band called a practice tonight How can you call a practice during the 7th game of a Yankee-Red Sox winner take all game?
I'm curious of why the Sox are pitching Lowe. Bad choice. You have two top pitchers and Pedro has at least a couple of days rest. This is 'winner take all". If Lowe comes out, who's next? Wakefield? Tee off time. Bob Gibson used to pitch 3 games during a series. I think it's that a pitcher needs to rest four days before he can start again.
My recommendation is: don't get your hopes to high

Pedro pitched Monday. I'm sure you'd love to see him in on two days rest though. And how is Lowe a bad choice? Did you miss the game on Sunday. Since Wakefield throws knuckle and off speed stuff he recovers a lot quicker than the pitchers that are throwing fastballs. And he looked great Monday night. My recommendation to you would be the same that you offered. And since we've already lost according to Yankee fans I don't think our hopes have been up. It's a pretty evenly matched game tonight. Gonna be good. Personally I'm happy just being able to say the Sox made history and came back and achieved what no team ever has. A 0-3 comeback to force a game seven. Go Sox!!!!!
We must!
We must!
We must increase the bust!
The bigger the better!
The tighter the sweater!
The boys are counting on us!

Hey wasn't that guy in left field part of the wall, like Jeffrey Maier. We got cheated out of a perfectly illegal play.
Nice try by A-Rod, otherwise it wouldv'e been just a regular out. Gotta have some drama.
