it wasn't luck, the sox lineup is quite capable of scoring runs in bunches. i am surprised that it came to 8-7 with the tying run on third. i was not happy at the time. yanks need to keep the pressure on by hitting tonite. all i can say is motherfukker!!!!! this series may well kill a few people, and i am one of them. it's too early for analysis, i'll be back in a bit.

why did francona leave timlin in? foulke may very well have
kept it 8-7 with the sox owning the momentum.
