if you are francona, what would you do to turn this thing around?

        grady is better than francona.

        [/ QUOTE ]

He took them to 7 seven games last year, unlike the 4 Francona took them to this year.

Well since the games Francona is taking them to are ongoing I don't think you can use that comparison.

Last year during the ALCS my wife and I were working out in Hawaii, and the 7th game happened to be the day she was flying back home, so when it went into extra innings I was pissed cause I had to jump in the car and take her to the airport, of course listening to the radio intensely while I was sharing all three lanes of the highway with other drivers. I dropped my wife off, got back in the car to listened to the game, when the Yanks sent Aaron Boone to the plate. Since he had been with the Yanks that year, it seem like he had 50 errors at third, was at bat 500 times and out of those 500 times, he struck out 450 and hit into 50 doubles plays. So when he was at the plate I gave up, cause I knew his 451st strikeout was coming, as probably did half the country. When he hit the homerun I was the most dangerous driver on the road at that time. One hand flailing out the window while the other was dialing my wife at the airport to tell her they just won. As for Grady, I thought his consistensy as a manager was better and the ALCS should have been his. I'm not so much intiminated by Francona, cause it wasn't until mid-August when the Sox started getting hot. Grady's move was something anyone would of did at that time, with Pedro out on the mound. As a Yankee fan, I was glad when they fired Grady, cause he was good. I hope he signs with Philly, cause that'll keep him in the National League.

seems to work for leo mazzone although he's not a manager. he's calmed down in recent years, used to be a total spaz.

brown is gonna be a pit bull tonite.
he has to or else we could see it 2-1 and giving the sox the chance to get back in.

No he isn't. There isn't going to be a game tonight bro. Heavy rain is supposed to move in come game time. High winds and thunder and lightning.

Weaver is a Dodger. lol I see Gejor picked up some of Weavers bad habits from when he was a Yank though. Not quite as bad as Weaver though.
