• Any Hot Wheels Collectors Out There?

I am selling my collection from my childhood...mostly cars from as far back as 1968 until the very early 80s. Most are in EX/EX+ condition, I am an only child, so it wa sjust me playing with them!

Anyway, I have them here, just grabbed them from my Mom's house a week or so ago and I figured before i hit FleaBay or the local die cast dealer I would see if anyone here was interested.

Shoot me an email or a PM if you are, thanks!

I used to have a huge collection - sold it two years ago and bought a bunch of guitars.

E-mail me pics or a list of what you've got - there are a couple cars I'd like to have again. I'm only interested in redlines with the original spectraflame paint jobs.

If you dump them on Ebay be prepared for WAY more stupid ass questions than you've ever gotten when selling guitars. Hot Wheels collectors are completely out of their fuckin' minds.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

I PM'ed you. I am looking for a '69 Charger in any color just because I am a nut for '69 Chargers and haven't had a Hotwheels version since I was a kid.

Edit: Proof I have a disease.

I think there might still be a chance for you Jim. I see a 69 GTO in your collector case, mopar hasn't completely pulled you unto the dark side of the force.

lol..yeah, that is a '69 Judge. I am actually almost equally in love with the '67 GTO as the '69 Charger. You have to love that grille! The body is also very similar to the Charger. I believe and am often criticized by fellow Mopar lovers when I say that I think Mopar stole the '66-'67 GTO body shape for the second generation Charger.

The 69 Judge is my dream car. One day i will own one. And it will be a weekend driver not a garage queen. I can see the similarities between the 66/67 GTO and the Charger. The transition from the back pillars into the rear deck lid are similar. The back window is very similar also.
There is a 65 GTO sitting down the street from me and the guy is letting it rot. I have offered to buy it several times. He just says its not for sale. Last fall he parked it under a tree and it is really starting to look bad. It kills me to drive by that car everyday.

I have piles and piles of Hot Wheels cars. I have no idea what all they are, some I've had for over 20 years, but about 5 years ago I went on some sort of Hot Wheels buying binge. I guess it was the fact that I was finally making money for myself in the USMC and I could finally buy all the stuff I'd wanted as a kid.

The "Coke Bottle" shape of the '66-67 GTO is also found on the '68-70 Charger.
