Yup, maybe not 4500 but it's big. I read up on that model and it is indeed quicker. 0-60 in under 5. Mine is under 6 so I guess he'd take me off the line. Oh well....

Yeah but they are around 3900. Still a fairly heavy car. If you're pulling around that kind of weight and expect ANY kind of performance you need 400hp! Please don't be offended Pat, but I can think of a lot of cars I'd spend 45 to 50K on before I'd buy that Caddy! I know right now where I can get a mint (8K original miles with some nice mods) 87 GNX for 34K. It'll ream that Caddy a new AS5HOLE! 0-60 in 4.7, best 1/4 was 12.77 (I was there!), top speed 160+. AND, the Buick will continue to appreciate in value! You've already lost 5K on the Caddy just driving it home! [img]/images/graemlins/poke.gif[/img]

The 80s Regal is an excellent base for modding for cheap speed. I think they weighed like 3300, that's almost in Vette territory. Still, the CTS-V is pretty damned cool, and is a good throwdown to the hot BMW & Benzos.
