• Post your guitar drawings (computer or pencil )

Here's a few of mine that I did on Microsoft paint. As you can see the necks have no taper to the width, and a straight string path across the headstocks(I did this to avoid the staggered lines and to keep things simple)

Pics 1. and 2. Working title of this one is "Thunderbolt" for obvious reasons. I done alot of flag graphics on these as they were the first and that seemed alot easier than something else. If anyone is offended by the rebel flag graphic I apologize. It is not my intention to offend anyone.

Pic 3. I call this one "Reptile". It has elements of a Rhoads, Kelly, and a BC Rich Beast. Graphics are pretty simple again.

Pic 4. The "Dragon". A modified Warlock with elements of the Beast again. Got a little braver with the graphics this time.

Pic 5. "H20". Because of the smooth and flowing shape. I haven't got around to many graphics on these yet, but I thought Zebra would look pretty good.

Pic 6. "RPM" because it's built for speed. This is my idea of what would happen if a Soloist and Warrior mated. Still not many graphics on there yet other than the Bengal which I can't seem to get away from

Ok Chris, you have a lot of stuff going on lately!
You should work for Jackson as designer.

Thanks man. The Dragon graphic is kind of a blend of Blood Drip and a ripped style. I got the idea from Blood Drip but to me it ended up looking more like it had been ripped open. Yep, MS Paint. The first one of each shape took a little while, but after that I just copied and pasted the additional ones. Just changed the colors and graphics. I only had to draw the Floyd once and just copied and pasted it on all of them.

As you know, I never could get the custom shop generator to work for me so I thought I would post these. I'm looking forward to seeing other people's guitars, so come on. I know some of you had to draw some.

nice work, JF!! The RPM reminds me a little of the Jackson Demon. Very cool design.

Thanks Toru, working for Jackson would be a dream job!!!

CMR Guitars? maybe someday I just put my initials on there. I made up some logos based off the Charvel logo (which I love)using some of the different body syles. That's what I plan to use on some of my projects.

WOW!
You really have been working on these.
You really need to do something about it.

Wow man, how could you get this in MS Paint!?! That is AMAZING.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

The logos are killer. The C perfectly lends itself to the lower bout of a guitar, and the R perfectly lends itself to the upper bout and cutaways. It could not have worked out better.

Those all look pretty good, especially the Dragon. The first one looks familiar. It's very similar to a lot of existing guitars, including this one:

Good work!!

I created a bunch of mockups of some Moser Customshop guitars for myself. I'll also do customer mockups for Neal as well. Here's some of them (I have a Phoenix on order). I use Photoshop and sometimes Illustrator do do these.

One thing I noticed is that all the necks have the wider nut width than the neck end width...

Thanks everybody.
Venomboy, those look pretty wild! Some of them might be a little painful to play though....but you would certainly look cool while playing them! The painful expressions on one's face from the guitar digging into your ribs would be perfect for death metal
Toru, the nut width appears wider than the heel width, but the neck is actually straight. Just an optical illusion I guess ( I see it too ). I tried drawing the necks correctly with a taper, but they didn't look very good with the staggered lines ( especially the strings ) that happen in MS paint. So for simplicity, I just drew them straight.

Come on everybody, lets see your drawings/mock ups. Venomboy and I can't be the only ones with imaginary/fantasy guitars.

Mine are based on actual guitars being built. I have played and held prototypes of the guitars I photoshopped and they are all very comfortable and balanced.
