Back in 92 we were playing at the broadway.Place was packed as usual and we were the middle act.During the set i started to notice more and more people coming up to the stage, having a laugh and walking away.Me ,being the rocker, thought that i was just kicking ass that night and they were just coming to check it out closer.We'll, in 92 i wore stretch denim jeans that were so tight you could tell what religion i was.

Anyways, after the set my friends came up to be and asked if i felt a breeze.I said no, why? Thats when i was told that it looked like a peice of bubble gum was stuck to my pants underneath the crotch.My freakin pants ripped a little and ...........you get the idea.lol.

At my very first show i plugged in my very VERY HOT setup pedalboard into my 100W tube Marshall amps in the high gain input by mistake. I normally used the low gain input. Also i cranked that mastervolume a little more than usual. Nervous as hell. No time for soundcheck. Not one single note. My Marshall cabs are placed pretty close to the edge of the stage to the right. I move to the center of the stage and we start the first song. I know something is wrong because my Invader equipped Kramer FR Sig. sounds like a 747 just hit the roof! I look over and notice that a runway is forming in the audience - a path with no people - right in the line where my Marshall full stack is pointing. It literally carves a path down through the audience, the poor souls fleeing from the thunder. I run over to the stack while playing and almost get blown off the stage when entering the line of sound! I manage to correct the error but i feel so stupid, hehe.

Drinking Yngwie's beer. My old band opened for him and my friend Ray (manyaxes) was feeding us beer from what we thought was the bar. Come to find out they were from Yngwie's dressing room. Ray thought they were our beers. It was kinda funny because we pretty much wiped him out of beer!

During a solo spot, I picked up an unopened beer and used it as a slide. Then I stood the beer bottle on the strings, let it slide freely down the neck and flipped the beer in the air before it hit the nut (yes, I had practiced this before). The bottle must have gone ten feet in the air while flipping end over end. I caught the bottle and opened it with intentions of downing it. As soon as I twisted the cap, the beer sprayed all in my face.

A buddy of mine was on tour and passing through Shreveport. He called and asked me if I wanted to join him at a little bar/club for the Monday Night Blues Jam. I had played with this group of old timers before, so I knew what to expect.

I had several errands to run, so I called my son and told him to meet me at the club and to bring either my Deluxe Strat or one of my Les Paul Customs. So there I sit, guzzling beer after beer with the other musiscians, anxiously awaiting the arrival of my guitar. I was sitting on the stool next to a Fender amp when my son and his friend came waltzing in with a phucking Jackson case containing my beautiful Jackson Korina KV.

Yea, I can't begin to tell you the expressions on the faces of not only the other players, but the 20 or 30 other people in the bar. I remember one old gentleman holding his vintage Telecaster saying "do you fly that thing or play it?" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

We were opening for Anthrax and my power trio AFTERSHOCK was all pretty coked out at the time (standard fair back in the day).During the song We Become One (great song BTW) my bass player got all weird on stage and while I was running backwards across the stage I backed square into him. He turned to me and punched me in the mouth. I then pushed him off of the stage and his bass guitar cord pulled his amp head off of his stack and it came crashing to the ground. Lucky for us it was a Sunn Coliseum head and it not only survived but kept on working during the set. He jumped back up on stage and we fought it out while the drummer continued to play the rest of the song. After around 30 seconds of fighting we split up (with help from some roadies) and we finished the set stronger than ever. I think that was a turning point in our careers because we got tons of gigs after that. It was a really stupid thing to do. The drugs and the fight.
