Was in the video store last night and they had the G3 live in Denver DVD for 10 bucks so I picked it up. I had never really been into Yngwie before, and I know he is a little chunky these days, but DAMN he is quite a performer! I'm going to have to check out some more of his stuff. Just my random thought for today...

Re: Yngwie on G3 in Denver-old news?
I had bought Vai's live DVD over the weekend and that is a bitchin' DVD. Billy Sheehan is a freak on the bass. I would have liked to see more from TOny McAlpine-haven't heard his stuff before, but everyone says he's smokin' too.

I saw the G3 tour when they were here in Boston last year, they all smoked but Yngwie got old quick , and lucky for us , Vai really had Mcalpine involved on guitar as well as keyboards, so we did get to see some glimpses of his magic as well. overall it was a great show!If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

Tony Macalpine is the best guitarist out of all of them. He is also probably the best pianist I have ever heard.
