this is quite a rediculous story;

monday one of my roommates discovered a guy in our house at 23.15 hours. he was the only one in house and he asks what the fu(k the guy is doing over here and he states he was looking for a room. since he was a junk my roommates tells him to sort off, which he does. the door was closed, but not locked (no problems to open it with a creditcard we discovered yesterday) so we thought that was it: guy cought red handed and nothing missing (as far as we could see).

well, yesterday evening, I was at the shooting range, my roommate gives me a call to ask whether I returned the crates with bottles of beer to the supermarket (you get payed something like $4,- if you return it with the bottles to the supermarket) and I said no. what appears to be the case: that loser a$$hole of a junk stole our empty beer crates . I mean, how low are you on the level of burglary if you steel that kind of stuff???? I asked the other students at the shooting range if they heared something like that before and one guy had that a couple weeks ago as well... this is really stupid. too bad I wasn't there, I would have called the cops and wouldn't have let him go, but whatever.

Re: burglary

Well I'd look at the bright side. It's only a couple of empty beercrates, and not a 750XL.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Re: burglary

that 750xl is gone for a refin. we live in a house with 8 students, each with seperate rooms with a hoge lock on the door. my door was locked, so if he HAD come to my room, he'd had to do some things more than use a creditcard

[communistic humanistic potential nonsense] I don't know whether he was a good man or not, I know what he is now, a sorry excuse for a human being with some drug addiction and I do not know what made him that way [/cummunistic humanistic potential bullcrap] but that is no friggin excuse to enter my house and steal my beer crates

Re: burglary

On one hand, it's only $4 worth of beer crates, but on the other hand, they were YOUR beer crates. While some people will just stick with "well, it was ONLY beer crates, not everything you own and he didn't rape and murder your wife and kids", the point is that ALL crime is intolerable, and what's yours is yours, no matter how small.

It amazes me how people put far more effort into surviving day to day by crime than working a real job.

Re: burglary

true, true, it was by the way 5 times $4, but there is crime and there is crime: you have crime committed by guys who want to make a quick buck or get filthy rich by doin it and guys who ended up in the gutter for some reason who do it to survive.

the first kind I really hate, the second kind I pity. regarding the first kind; "What we shoud try to forget is the line that crime does not pay off, it as a matter of fact does" (michael crichton, the great train robbery)
