Howard played a Crankdaddy song today. I was making my oatmeal and I said to myself, "Hey... I know that dude!"

Well that's good. Usually bands have to do something of that nature to get air time on his show.We must!

Re: Nobody else heard Crankdaddy on Stern today???
I am sorry I missed it. I really don't listen to Howard any more. I have been a fan since the early eighties when he was on NBC. He has done more whining and flip flopping over the years I have listened that I can't take more than a few minutes at a time any more. Whatever suits him at any particular time he hammers to death and it gets old fast.Scott

Gotta agree with you Scott. I used to listen to him all the time also. But after Jacky left and the divorce drew closer his stuff just started getting old.We must!

Agreed with both of you! It's all garbage these days, has been for some time. I listen to XM a lot anyway, if I'm not listening to talk radio anyway.
He reminds me of Mancow, what a joke and waste of air space! You'd think people would use their time more productively...
Oh well, the bottom has to have something to feed...

Wow, that's a strong statement Pat.
Hey, sorry you guys don't like him anymore or disagree with the way his show has gone, but he still has quite a large fan base. My point of posting this was to point out that a member of our little forum had a song played on his show. I wasn't looking to start a debate or be insulted for still listening to him.Occupy JCF

Just miss the old stuff bro. Didn't mean to ruin your thread or put Crankdaddy down in any way. Making it onto Howard's show is still impressive. And even when his show was starting to lose appeal with me I still loved watching "Son of a beach" on FX. Maybe when he gets on Satellite he'll be able to do more of what he wants. We must!

Re: Nobody else heard Crankdaddy on Stern today???
Holy crap! Can't believe I missed this thread!
Thanks Tekky, for posting it. Here's the funny thing -- I sent Howard a CD of the new "Howard" version a couple months ago. I emailed, and called, nothing. I've been listening every day in my office non-stop since I sent it.
All of a sudden I start getting emails this morning from people, asking if that was Crankdaddy they heard on Howard at 7:00 am. I even got one from Bigdaddyd -- our JCF brutha in NYC.
I didn't hear it cause I was in the freaking bathroom! Fortunately, I did get mp3s of it from our local radio station...it's very cool.
Long story short: Howard dug us, Artie detected "a Ramones thing going on", and Robin? Well, she laughed and said "I just wish the band was better." (I'll let that one slide since she has such nice hooters.)
Anyway, thanks for the well wishes guys. I'd post the mp3, but I don't know how to do it.
