there was talks of mags coming to the red sox during the whole nomar thing. i was so hopeful. i love that little guy.

Yeah Sully and I was sickened I didn't wnat Normar for Mags. Nothing against Normar mind you but we had just overpaid a Shortstop and we were going to trade Mags for Normar neither of whom would likely stay at the end of the year? I really wish Mags would stay but with Boras on board as his agent unlikely. Reinsdorf does not do well with either with high pressure agents like Faulk or Boras

yeah, i can understand on the nomar thing; it's not like nomar was the nomar of days gone by this season. i gotta say that shingo takatsu seems like a nice find for the team. has there been any talk about frank retiring? it'd be a shame if he ended his carreer without a ring.

Takatsu is a great find... Yeah a young healthy Normar would have been a great trade but then again Mags wasn't healthy this year either.

Frank retiring no not this year he still has time at the DH and the past two years sans injuries he has been very good not 93 Frank but very good. If we lose Mags I would see Kenny going after Beltran but losing out on him but also going after Normar if he is looking for a 1 year contract to prove he is healthy. We still need an answer at a lot of postions and much stronger pitching

Nomar is probably going to the Angels. Kennedy will be hurt much of 2005 so they are planning on moving the pest(Ekstein) over to second and have Nomar at short. Angels have money also. Rumor also has it they want to go after Pedro.
