Well these are crappy since I took them with my phone but this Tattoo is sweet, It really brings the lower part of my left arm together. My sleeves are coming along nicley and I just love this VH Tattoo

I have a friend , my old Virtual Halen tribute manger and got to meet the guys many times ...he had that VH logo off the F U C K album tatted on his arm , he had VH license plates...VH everydamnthing!!!!
He bought one of those busted up Jack Daniles basses off a dude named Kevin Doogan (sp)...he's a lawyer and was a VH roadie for years..
I could have bought the bass for 2K about six years ago but it's in splinters that's poured into a genric guitar case..
I though about it but passed ..he wanted my Wolfgang and 5 bills to boot....nahhhhhh...
My wolfy is spankin' new ..I wouldn't have traded him straight up really ...even though it is a rock N roll "relic"..nahhhhhhh..
I did get to play an actual Mike Anthony bass at one of my gigs ...it was a prototype bass made for Mike in hope of an endorsement deal ..it was fretless ...but I did all my tapping and slapping solo on it ...it played great....it was Kevin's.
I have pics of that bass..

You know Kevin ...wow he loved our band ...ask him at the time we were the BEST VH tribute in the country per The Inside mag..ohhhhh
We could have played with Roth...and we would have been the band for the Sammy and Dave tour...we smoked those dudes ...they are good ...but we friggin' smoked them
Oh well , it's not like I really care now..I wasn't happy in a "cover" or "tribute" band even thought the money was great!!!
I just want to make my own crappy music..for no money..

Do bSin' around man are they as good as they were...no scratch that ...does Ed still have the fire he once had..I know you're a bit biased because you love them ...and I sure did too until that VHIII came out in 98 and then I just started to dive into harder metal..
But I was still a fan longer than you ...because I was Obssessed with Ed since I was 13 in 78 ..he made me play guitar..
I started loosing intrest in then durin my days with the tribute ...because I had to play those songs so many times every twice weekend...and I still dig them when they did the twister soundtrak and I still digged the with the two newer Roth tunes on their best of ..
but the way they kicked Roth to the curb and put out that nasty III album ..that put the fork in it for me ...and a lot of other people too obviously..
Funny because when I used to listen to Extreme I always thought that Gary would fit VH ...then he joined them and proved my thoughts wrong..
I think the very best singer for VH is Jorne Lande ...hands down
I e-mailed them dropping Jorns' name several times and even told Kevin about Jorn...
He would pull VH outta the ashes more than anyone could IMO.
Even though Sammy stills sound good and Dave was always the "personality" of the band IMO

There's only 2 bands I can turn to when I frustraed with all the other music I'm writing , playing or listening to, and that Vh and The Crue, When I put on Vh1 I feel like a kid again, I've been listening to Vh since I was 3, Eddie on his worst day is better than 95% of every guitar player out there
I know how you feel getting burnt out on a band by playing a lot of their tunes, When I started playing in bands in high school, All I played was Zeppelin, and for a year or 2 I didn't really listen to Zep because I played everything for a few yearsI've fallen, Fallen through. I'll break out the VH every once in a while..and think of old times...which there is so many good VH related memories..
My old girlfriends would buy me their albums the day they came out ...I remember the girl for each album.
Except the first one because a friend lend it to me and I refused to give it back...I stilll have it...the only vinyl record I own today..
