I know John Peel just through one session he did with GYBE, and that was - IMHO - amazing. RIP, John!

great guy he liked all music he gave his record collection
to the public. i seen him on room 101 really nice guy and
funny i was really upset when i heard the news he died

God he was such a great guy, shame.

I don't think he has given it away yet, I know he was going to sell it to the British Library a few years back but nothing came of it.

Am I the First American to notice this... Man what a shame.. He was know over here too maybe not as popular but there were Peel sessions of american bands too.
