Since it is so long now, everyone is telling to go get a hair glue like Sully said.

At least Aqua Net makes some cool flames with a lighter [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

You need an entire bottle of super hold gel, and an entire bottle of super extreme hold stiff stuff (do they still make that??)....should do the trick...or just have a buddy shoot a wad in your hair over and over...that can make your hair stiff too....

There's an extreme skier named Glenn Plake that had a foot plus tall mohawk that he would ski with and it wouldn't fall. His secret was spray starch like you use on clothes. He even used to iron it to make it like a wing sometimes. Not bullshiting you either.

I wanted to use a blow dryer to try to make the hairspray set quicker, but I don't own one, so I turned the shower on hot and heated up my bathroom with steam, and that didn't help I think.

no, the steam would make it impossible.

sigh....you never woulda made it thru the hair metal years. the sooner you learn that humidity is your enemy, the better off you'll be. mist, steam, fog, etc, are hairdo killers.

now that it's growing out a bit, go get yourself a flat iron, some spiker gel, some strong hairspray, a hair dryer, and don't come out of there until you look like mickey finn of jetboy. you got me?

Ain't that the truth! When I had the 80's hair, I played in Key West for 2 weeks at a place called Dirty Harry's. I might as well been playing in the water. It was wide open with full humidity. Oh yeah, it was in August!

Reminds be of a story. At a Bon Jovi concert, When his hear was gettin' wet from sweat, Richie sang a tune. When Bon Jovi came back out, his hair was dry. Seems like he had Richie sing a tune so he could go back to dry his hair.

I know the place. And you aren't kidding. When we lived on the water, everything rusted / corroded: everything. Pull chains on the ceiling fans, light sockets, everyfreakingthing. My freaking books stayed furry with mildew.

When I had The Hair, I lived someplace humid in summer but had a nice cold winter, so I could just bow all the way over so my head was upside down, and blow dry it that way.

Oh, and I always thought Richie was as good a singer as Blow Jovi, so I wouldn't have minded that!

If you have more than four inches of 'hawk, gel is your enemy!!! You need that fukker as light as possible. Get the heaviest hold salon selectives hairspray and a hairdryer, and remember to pull it tight while you dry.

Dep Hair Glue.
Lab by paul mitchell.
Garnier by Fructis Fiber resin.
Knox Gelatin (yah, the **** you eat).
Elmer's Glue All.
Any sort of pomade that's very thick and tacky.
Some waxes, such as the Physique wax (the **** smells so good), then some hair spray over top of that.

There is a styling salon chain called, REGIS, they sell this freeze spray ****, you could get and equivelent of that. There is also this tacky gel glue, called spikerz, they sell. You could look into that.
