• Saw Gov't Mule last night

Warren Haynes is a stunning guitar player. He plays with so much heart it's just brilliant. His tone is simply amazing. He played a couple LP Standards and a couple Firebirds. Two Marshall cabs, one Carr head, one SLO head.

All I can say is WOW!

That, and I really want a Firebird with mini-humbuckers now - the tone he was getting was amazing.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

I saw them open up for the Black Crowes a while back. I wasn't really interested until they went on. I was really impressed.

I want a Firebird with minihums now, too! I've been listening to a lot of Gov't Mule lately. Just picked up their Deepest End cd/dvd the other day... it's two cds and one dvd. It was after their bass player Allen Woody died and they have a whole bunch of guys playing bass with them... Jason Newstead, Les Claypool, Jack Cassady, Roger Glover, bunch of other people I can't remember at the moment. Very cool stuff!
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
