    Pyromania blows. The production is great if you think obscuring all resemblence to an actual band performance is great. Screw that. That album sucks ass. The songs are horrible - if you remove the production from those songs they would not stand on their own - the production is what makes those songs, not the songs themselves.

    Would I like to be responsible for it? Of course, I'd like that money - who wouldn't? But to me it'd be no different than having been responsible for Britney, Jessica, N'Sync, etc. Def Leppard sounds like Menudo with electric guitars through a Rockman. Heck, Tom Scholz deserves some credit for Pyromania.

    I saw Def Leppard live one time. It was like having some shove sugar coated spears in my skull all night. They were awful. I can't blame Vivian Campbell for doing it, it's gotta be awesome to make that money and have that recognition. At least Vivian can take comfort in knowing that at one time he did create some great music.

      You are so wrong. Supertramp is a rock and roll powerhouse compared to Def Leppard. Def Leppard makes Supertramp sound like Iron Maiden.

                      One of the guys I worked with tried out for Warrant in the 80s when he was living in LA. He also took lessons from Joe Holmes. We call him Beetlejuice.

                        I heard Joey Allen didn't even play his own solos on the Warrant albums. I was never a fan of Warrant anyway... though, I did always like the acoustic version of I Saw Red. Does that make me gay? [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
                        And Joe Holmes ruled when I saw him on Ozzfest in the late '90s when Zakk was concentrating on his own stuff. Joe also was a student of Randy Rhoads. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

                          and when your in a "METAL" band ...nobody should doubt your ...well except for Halford and Anselmo ...at least they don't make it that obvious ...well sometimes it's obvious ...but somehow they manage to keep it cool...and not write such gayness as "Mary lost her baby" or "Pour some sugar" or maybe "Cherry Pie" or anything Meatallica ever did since 1990...

                          you see , see the difference of what being GAY makes a band ..Metallica was NOT gay up to 1990 ....well they smoked just a little pole in '90...then BLAMO...full blown pole smokers and....

                          and they hate the bush..

                                WHAT?!?!???? Halford has been as obvious as it gets for as long as I can remember. Halford is one of my favorite singers of all time but he looks like he's right out of the Village People.
