This is an interesting thread, not only because I like Enuff Znuff, but because I just got back from a show where I think I saw the worst band I've ever seen before-Code 7. However I also saw one of the best bands I've ever seen before too-Hopesfall.

See, that's the thing that I just don't understand - how can anyone like a band that had a great guitarist but sh1tty songs? Whaddya do, fast-forward through the songs to get to the riffs and solos? [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I never thought it was possible for a band to get *worse* every time that I heard or saw them, but leave it to Chip and the boys to achieve just that. The first time I heard them was when they were starting to break out. They were the big buzz where I'm from (they're south suburban Chicago boys) and the first time I heard them I was not impressed at all. I actually even met Chip's mom in a mall, it took everything I had not to tell her how much of a hack I thought her son was. Then over the years I heard more and more songs, I wanted to hurt whoever forced me to listen to them. About 5 years ago, I obtained a Joe Satriani/Steve Vai tribute album, "Lords of Karma". E'nuff Z'nuff was the band that "performed" (I use the term loosely because it was more like butchered!) Yankee Rose. Then, last year, when I went to see George Lynch and Michael Schenker play at the HoB two nights in a row, EZ opened. There's a total of an hour that I'll never get back. Then just last week, they played on the radio. And I swear, every time I hear them, they get worse!

See this is seriously fukked up! I heard Adrian's former band (Conquest) back in the 80's and they were WAY better than enuff znuff!!!!!! It fukks me up that they were the OPENING act for them!!! I never like enuff znuff... to top 40 sounding! JMO...

Enuff Zneuff was one of those bands that I used to sit and wonder...

Derek Frigo's best work was his solo on the Varney's unsung heros disc and his Lemans band..

He was a wasted talent with that hippie bubblgum pop band..

in Enuff Z Nuff he sounded like a watered down Steve Stevens..he didn't get much room to breathe ...therefore he left for a while ...but guitar was DEAD in the mainstream ...he had nowhere else to go and went back to the fluffy Puss metal band also known as the dollar bin babies..

Derek was the ONLY talent in that ...ahhhh...band?

when I saw Chip blowing hippie humpin' spew while opening for Priest ...I wanted to shoot him in the forehead hoping to stop the spread of such pussydom.

I think Vikki had a little talent, but was kinda what I call Tommy Lee lite.

Like Sully Said, Tigertailz was way worse, Plus theree was tons more on the strip that shouldn't of been playing too.

I always had the same impression of Rough Cutt...regardless if Amir solos and cool Jacksons...I remember one of those Rough Cutt tapes getting pitched out my car window into big pile of snow in the taco bell drive thru by my drummer after the bars closed [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Sure we were hammerd but after skipping through a few tunes we both aggreed it sucked and putting that tape out of its misery so no one else would feel that pain was a good idea at the time [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I never really liked Rough Cutt either untill a few years ago, I went back and listened to all the cd'sand I actually liked a bunch of the tunes.
