Sorry but Def Leppard and Supertramp arent even close to the worst band ever. Both bands excel in what they do, which is produce (overproduce?) radio gaga.........Besides both bands have their share of classics. I believe Pyromania to be one of the greatest albums ever released...........

I agree. On through the Night, Pyromania and Hysteria are all great well produced and written records. Pyromania could be considered a friggin masterpiece. This brings up an interesting question and since Ratt is liked by most around here let me ask:
If you had the the choice of being responsible for writing, playing and recording Pyromania by Def Leppard or Out of the Cellar by Ratt, which one would you choose and why.
I would choose Pyromania for 2 reasons.
1. The high production value is almost unchallenged. It is a masterpiece. You could give Mutt alot of the credit but Def Leppard did write the songs!
2. Every song on the record was a smash hit and holds up even today which is evident in their successful tours.
BTW... I love Ratt but I must admit that not every song on Out of the Cellar is a great song.
Bottom line for me, just because a metal/heavy rock band has radio friendly hits doesn't cast them into the "worst band ever" category.
Here is a lousy band for you... Gorky Park.
