Gotta agree with you there. I like a couple of the songs, but not as Styx songs. And I don't care if you guys hate Styx, I was in junior high when my sisters high school chick frends would hang out and listen to cornerstone and paradise, and I thought those albums were awesome soundtracks to my first encounters (such that they were) with high school chicks...

I personally love everything by Deep Purple, but most critics felt Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band were toads.

But I can't comment on the Blaze Bayley Maiden CDs as I have not heard enough from those albums to be informed.

Blaze had a cool voice, but the albums weren't anything special. But still better than 98% of the world's other bands will ever do.

Countdown To Extinction was a decent album. Youthanasia is where Megadeth started to fall apart.

I can appreciate it now, after all the years of talentless crap by so many scheisse bands, but at the time it was a heartbreaker!
