LOL I don't think I've heard Dance Sleazy, at least not that I remember. I liked some of their really old stuff that I've heard from friends of mine who owned some of their albums, but I never really got into them or bought anything from them.

cold lake was an abortion. they were known for being proto-death metal and quasi-experimental, but when they came out with a glam album...yikes!! it was soooo chessy it could've been on top of nachos!!

Yeah, I remember in the '80s their death stuff, but the only death metal bands I was really into at the time were Death and a little Venom. I remember when the glam album came out and Tom G. Warrior then became Thomas Gabriel Warrior. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

yeah and they had Curt Victor Bryant, Eric Martin Ain, and plain old Steven Priestly (what no glammish middle name?)...then they ditched the corpse paint for puffy hair and the leather and spikes for blouses. good times...good times.

if i worked for noise records, i would've kicked tom warrior in the nads, burned the master tapes and said, "growl you motherflubbing swede!! play those downtuned i-iv-v progressions!! make that guitar sound like a chain saw...and love it, cause you're my bytch!!"

I only own one CD by these guys, but Sonata Arctica is absolutely horrible. I have the Winter Hearts Guild CD, and I can only listen to the first track. Everthing else is crap I've already heard from other bands, arranged in way that sounds completely slapstick and uninteresting. Sonata Arctica can suck mine.

So, any good CDs put out by this band?
