Somehow I just can't take seriously a website that has a Poser5 chick in a crapass pose doing some lame-ass "Metal Sign".

Re: Megadeth calling it quits?

Not long ago Dave DID say this might be like the KISS farewell tour and go on forever. I guess ticket sales are not what he wanted, so now he's trying to scare everyone into going to see the current tour.Of course, eventually he'll forgive Junior, Marty will be broke, and maybe Nick will be sober, and he can do a RIP lineup tour "for the fans who wished the RIP lineup had done the farewell tour".I think when he finds no market for Dave Mustaine solo in the 21st century, he will grow wistfully fond of the Megadeth name again.

According to Cumstaine, Megadeth will disband after this tour. At that time, he will produce three solo albums for Sanctuary Records.

It's funny, but less than a year ago, he said that he wasn't doing anymore large tours. This guy flip-flops worse than Kerry and Bush. It's also humorous that his site keeps screaming "sellout show here, sellout show there." One of the venues is a bowling alley/billards room/video arcade. Matter of fact, I did a GOOGLE search and the majority of the venues are club size. I guess all the arenas were booked!

Sorry kids... I'm just tired of his BS, I'm uninterested in any Megadeth news unless it is along the lines of the following...

"Marty Friedman re-forms band with Megadeth past, promises to be something spectacular, Mustaine left out in the cold..."

I agree with you about the gay looking web-site but they seem to do a pretty good job in posting the latest in metal news.

I've done The Rave. They have the coolest backstage that I have ever seen!!

As for Megadeth, at least if they DO end it will be on a strong album.

ehhhhhhhhh..I have Marty's "music for speeding" ...I find NOTHING exciting or "metal" about it at all ..what the hell is he doin' anyway besides wackin' his beanbag.

Can't wait to see Megadeth Sunday with the mighty Exodus opening !

Has anyone seen them yet with the Drovers .....I have very high expectations.

I'll let ya know how it was.

Bill, Marty isn't interested of doing metal for a long time. He want's to play something new, like pop, industrial rock, new age, japanese and other eastern music etc.
I like his new stuff a lot.

good show in milwaukee last night...I wouldnt say vintage megadeth, but a damn solid show...not overly impressed with the new drummer.
poor mixing through the first qtr. of the show... the place was way over packed ,they definately should have had the show in the eagles ballroom room upstairs of the venue they played. simply not enough room to breath...... it was like being packed in a sardine can with 15 jackasses moshing around you...
ear shot opened up and for lack of a better term, blew .
I cant understand why any band would have 2 guitars players when neither do anything other than chunk power chords, the singer made the best of a **** situation, and reminded me of andrew wk without the sense of humor....the crowd heckled & rained beer on them, at the close of their set a roady through an earshot t-shirt into the crowd, they threw it back......would have much rather seen exodus open.......
overall worth the $24... dave did elude to the fact theyre done at least in name...saying goodbye and made some other reference earlier on to the same effect..
