Well what a day I have had.
Me and my girlfriend are splitting up this weekend-she's moving out-which was my decision-for the better
my stress level has been through the roof about work and my girlfirend-I get a call today from my best friend's wife (since the 7th grade)-she tells me he passed away yesterday afternoon(40 years old)
I fell out of touch with Kipp about 8 years ago, went thru my 3rd divorce and bought another house and one night was thinking about my past and naturally thought of Kipp
I decided to look him up and got his phone number called him we talked it was really great
He decided to come down for my 40th birthday bash and seeing him made the whole party,we talked about old times it was wonderful.
He has epilepsy-which was no big deal but he had an accident 8 years ago on the job and fell 24 feet (head first) onto concrete and messed his noodle up (for awhile) but totally destroyed his back.He did not recieve workmans comp because of his condition-BullSh*t-
He has been on meds since.Total disability He could not remember how to play guitar but he watched himself (video) onstage playing and with a little help he started again.Basic g,c,d chords.
He was always depressed that he would never play again like on the video's.When I finally got in touch with him he was elated-his wife even told me he is back to being the old Kipp again.Happy, full of life instead of being depressed and the usual life sucks attitude. He had a major epileptic attack and know he is gone (He left a wife and 2 daughter's behind)
Talked to him last week and was planning to go see him next week-well that will not happen I will be going to see him sat.Sorry for making this so long but my heart has been ripped from me
I have known Kipp since I was 12
I just thank God that Kipp and his wife was able to be here for my 40th birthday party, spend a great weekend on the lake, laugh and have a great time...
Again sorry everybody just really depressed....
To Kipp Arnold,
I love ya buddy and till we meet again-You will always be in my thoughts.
Love Ya,
