Henrik, I saw on TV that Kolding? had a bid ass fireworks

Finn, just saw your post now. I am not online much lately due to house work.

Yes, major crisis in Kolding, city called Seest. The industrial area. One of the biggest disasters in recent danish history.

Here's some facts from the top of my head:

Some workers supposedly dropped firework-batteries when loading some containers. That set off the whole thing.

2000 tons of explosives gathered in one place (idiots)

Explosion(s) could be heard 20 km away

Measured 2.0 on the Richter scale

400 firefighters called in

1 firefighter killed, leaving wife and 2 kids, 7 firefighters injured, 80 citizens injured from smoke and blast, hearing damage

361 houses damaged, 150 of them not fit for living in

5 factories surrounding the site is wiped off the face of the earth

Several people in the area was blown off their bikes and stairs from the blast

2000 evacuated

Area still burning after nearly 3 days

Today, families were taken by bus inside the zone to watch their damaged houses and stuff. The busses didn't stop - no one is allowed on foot in the area.

My thoughts and prayers goes to the wife and kids of the killed firefighter and the injured and the now homeless.
