Peotestors these days are out of control the majority of the time.Back in the 60's kids were stoned out of thier minds and were more laid back.Nowadays, they stop off at strbucks , get a triple-double expresso, play a little grand theft auto and then take to the streets for a little "extreme" protesting.Ace, good for you, and thanks for serving our country in the usmc!I serioulsy doubt we'd agree politically, no biggie.I went to the veterans parade saturday to show my appreciation.

I am reminded of a saying:if your not a liberal before your in your 40's, you have no heart.
If you are not a conservative after 40, you have no brain.9/11 jump started that process for me.
As for protests, i think they are lame and the people protesting the war come off as unpatriotic.

I usually see waaaay more unruliness during a Mardi Gras, a Superbowl win or a pennant win and like celebrations than I do during a protest. The only protest I say I can recall that was rather out of hand was the G8 a few years back.
Even the Democratic convention in NY didn't get to out of hand for the size.
I think cops stick to their own..black n white in the eyes of the law, sometimes adding a 'little' extra to make it even more startk in contrast. You are on the wrong side regardless if you are need of medical attention, it would break the code of the brotherhood.

99% of the time I don't agree with protesters... It doesn't accomplish anything. Even if I agree with their opinions, I think protesting is stupid. There are lots of other ways to get things done.
Now I also believe people who put themselves in harms way like this, are just trying to help us thin the herd... I dispise stupidity...
With that being said, I also commend ACE on his actions and, yes the Police SHOULD have pulled her to the side away from the crowd and gotten her the help she needed! That IS part of their job!!! They did not handle the situation correctly!

As for the daughter... Lock the stupid b!tch up! And I agree with YAO that if she had climbed on MY car that way, I'd have shot her too! What the hell do these people think? "I'm mad so that gives me the right to damage someones property, that might not have anything to do with my argument"???? It's just like these stupid NAACP protesters that stopped the Highway traffic here in St. Louis a couple of years ago...standing in the middle of the Highway.... If ya get hit, ya got no one but yourself to blame... Good thing I wasn't on the Highway that day, I'd have had a really bad case of road rage!!! ok I may have gone a little overboard with the selfish pigs bit. but you people really have a misconstrued look on things. Since when is property more important than someone's well-being?

not a question that needs explaining. Because your answer will probably not make any sense to me. You people never do. It's obvious to me that the majority of the people here have a strange twisted view of the world that doesn't include their fellow man, it's definately all about "me me me" here.

When I see somebody who's down and out I do my best to help them out.

From what I read on this forum most everyone would rather just step on their face and tell them to get off your lawn.


Just different views and beliefs. I'm not aggravated in any way really.

Drip - enough with the self-righteousness already. It's safe to say that most, if not all, of us here try to help people when we can. For about half of my adult life I've put a roof over friend's heads when they needed help. That often included wives, children, & pets as well and it sometimes went on for years. So please, spare me the lecture. Those of you on the left are far from the only people who care about their fellow man.

That would be a matter of the situation.

If you had to wreck your car to help savean innocent person from a bad situation, property loss is not important in the face of that.
