I think we're pushing the button here. Obviously Republicans want their way, and Democrats want theirs. No slander in that.
We can't alienate someone for their opinion, whatever it is.
Freedom, no matter what the cost, that's my America, and people take it for granted, we can protest, or we can vote how we choose. Some people would silence our opinions, but in the same respect, they are like the opressors, we're trying to be free from.
In a simple (again, trying very hard so it doesn't get yanked) way, it's like this.
We are a country, with many different opinions, and the freedom to express those opinions. The truth of the matter is, when we start to silence those opinions, we're going to be like the places we've spilled blood to be free from. America was founded because we wanted freedom. We have to be thankful we can express and opinion, or protest our opinions, no matter how right or wrong someone else feels about it.
