Kazaa is on a bunch of different servers.. I think you can only find songs that are on whatever server you're connected to, so unless its something popular, chances are you won't find it. I could be way off though.

Lev- you're right on (except technically there are no "servers"...instead users w/ high power machines will be recruited to index the content)... Bottom line is that Kazaa has a limited "search horizon"... it's only good for finding stuff that is shared very widely since searches don't span the entire network. Most other p2p networks are similar.

Yeah, what he said. The whole idea with Kazaa is to "not have any servers", that the government can put down. Kazaa works as a kind of spider web, where information is distributed. I am sure you are doing everything right with your file sharing. It just takes a while for the information to spread. It is like when you tell one of your "friends" a secret. It takes a while, but eventually everybody will know about it [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
