Very sorry to hear this Sully; take it easy as
much as you can and I agree, sue the fukker for all you can get. You deserve it because you really ARE undergoing serious pain and suffering. Their insurance company will try to lowball you, so drop your qualms and call the biggest personal injury lawyer in town ad let him get you a couple hundred thou or so.

After all, you need good painpills and sleeping pills if you're gonna sleep sitting up.

Good luck with your recovery, Sully. I agree with what Lerx said about finding a good personal injury lawyer to handle the insurance company. Their services in times like these are invaluable.

Were you able to salvage the nut noose, or do you leave it at home all the time?

i hear that. thankfully i've got a fair amount of vicodin to help me with that. i try not to take them, though, considering i have too much of a fondness for them. also greatful for my laptop. i can only watch so much daytime tv.

i don't really remember much immediately after, but i did go to an urgent care center after it happened. they did a quick exam, got the glass out of my face, and said that i probably had a concussion, but to take it easy and i'd probably be sore for the next few days.

i went to my regular dr later and got xrays, etc.

going back to bed; this not really sleeping for very long is driving me nuts. it seems like i'm rarely asleep for more than 20-30 minutes at a time. i can say that if not for my laptop and wireless internet, i'd have lost it by now.
