Windows XP help...

How do I get a new window to open in it's own window?
I've set it to do so, and it don't. Right clicking gets me nowhere.
Help!

You set it to do so in your folder options? After you did that, did you re-boot? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

open a folder.. go to Tools, then Folder Options, then click on the 'Open each window in new window'

Yeah, Starbucks, which when pronounced backwards is skubrats [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

You can also hold the Ctrl key as you open the new target folder, and you can hold Ctrl as you click the Up arrow to go to the previous folder, but it will open in a new window.

The thing I miss from NT is the little window at the top of each folder that has your folders in it. I don't dig that Folders button that opens up a tree view - takes too much space.
